THE MIDWAY VETERANS OF NO RIGHT TO WIN:

RICHARD S. BROWN

Richard Brown at the BOM 65th anniversary commemoration in San Francisco, 2007

Richard Brown was a radioman on the staff of CTF-17, Admiral Fletcher, aboard USS Yorktown at the Battle of Midway.  He became an active participant on the Roundtable after the publication of No Right to Win, but he then began to contribute his unique first-person insight as to what it was like aboard the Yorktown flag bridge at Midway.  He left the Navy as a Chief Radioman, and for many years has been a key supporter of the USS Yorktown CV-5 veterans association.
